I took this picture in an area affected by flooding in august 2008. The water is still present in many parts of the landscape. Here the fields, destroyed by the water, are completly muddy. People cannot cultivate rice anymore for the next 2 or 3 years, knowing that we are in the poorest state of India... Bihar State, India, November 2008.
